Bike above is called Double Trouble. Small computer fans are 12 volt. Will almost fit in a Harley chopper frame. I have been thinking while I stare at it

that's what I'm after I never knew there were that many HD 5 speed transmissions

She said it wouldn't fit

^^^this is the one i'm thinking of. accelerates like a japanese superbike, turns like a telephone pole.

You can ride a straight line for best part of a day out west on Prairie in Canada , same in the USA , bet down under too .... the bike in question looks like it prolly meant for a quarter mile rip .... but I don’t really know , sure does remind me of Hogslayer though and that what it was built for .... lots of riders are animals on the straights and somewhat tamer in the curves , eh .... at Bonneville they just measure straight away speed not the turn for the return .....

the triumph one is an LSR machine, straight line, built by a friend of mine for another guy. it's geared for around 175 or so. went out to the races one time, ran once on a shakedown to 142mph, then an oil seal inverted on the crank nose and it lost oil pressure to the front motor. the rider shut it down, and the mechanic there couldn't find the slightly misshapen seal (he was not a british bike mechanic), and it hasn't been out since. it's sitting as a display piece in a drive-in bar in new york, sadly. my friend is all kinds of frustrated that it hasn't gone back out. his build was exquisite, imo.

open primary chains mean it has to be lubed all the time. not practical for street use. plus the riding position is mostly horizontal.

Thanks for Pics Do you know the bar in New York, may give me a destination for a ride.

shoot, no. i don't . i think it was closed for covid. i'll ask my buddy and post what he says. he also did a single engine LSR triumph too, which went 134? i think, in the mile. the second-fastest-naked-framed-triumph-650-on gasoline-that=has=ever=been . . .

lol

after my first-fastest at 135.
