Hi All.
i have to set the new Pazon sure fire.
I know i have to use the flash light for the best timing (31 degree at 5000 RPM).
The question is: at beginning with the bike on parking i have to set directly to 31 degree or less?.
Thanks.
Piero

Set it statically eg engine stationary to 31 degrees, then check it really sparks at 31 with the strobe with the engine at the right revs. Put a rubber pad under the centre stand and have someone sat on the bike otherwise it moves across the floor.

No, just follow the Pazon instructions for setting the static timing, then start the engine and check the timing with the strobe light.
If necessary, re-adjust until it is set 31 degrees at 5000 RPM.

Hi Les,
thank you.
It means 31 degree at the static timing?.

Yes, static timing is set at the "full advance" 31 degree position.

Hi.
To day i have used the flash light.
Starting from the static timing of 31 degree, at 5000 RPM the mark was at 38 degree both cylinders.
I have adjiusted to 31 degree, both sides.
Ciao
Piero
