yes it is like that i took the seat off to have a look at the electrics under the seat and it is so tidy

Yes, it has an oil temp gauge and David said it has never exceeded 90 degrees apart from once on a track day in summer.
I have a thermostat on my t150 and the oil cooler rarely gets hot which pretty much backs up the findings for not using one

The ones on my triples are Mocal 7 row, much smaller than the standard ones, no detrimental effects either.

just got back in after a 30 mile run on dry/dampish roads. i have to say i am blown away by this bike it maybe only 850 but it feels way quicker than the Harrier which was 988cc. it is a lot less vibey. it pulls from nothing and really takes off between 6-8K.
i think the 31mm CR carbs are far more suited to the motor than the 33's on the Harrier.
all in all it is a fantastic bike that is totally sorted. the fuelling is spot on. to say i am delighted would be an understatement
