Rioting across the pond...

Apparently, there are bad things happening beyond the end of my driveway where my caring stops. I am the worst.

I suggest we need to keep this discussion away from politics, but politics are usually about economics. I am not religious and I am not a communist or a fascist - or any other kind of believer.
When looked at objectively, since the Renaissance there have been about 5 economic cycles and each has ended in a war. Nuclear weapons have stuffed that game. The new game is global domination by wealth. And most money now exists as debt. Private equity investment companies such as Blackrock and Blackwood profit by creating debt. The effects are inflation and cost of living and housing crises. People are protesting, however I suggest most do not know the reason for their condition.
The change of government in the UK will probably not achieve much, but at least the basis of our current problems is becoming known. It all started with Friedrich Von Hayek's neoliberalism. I actually bought his book 'the constitution of liberty' and read it. I suggest most economists are wacky. The reserve currency is the US dollar - tying it's value to a service or commodity is 'price control' - not the free market. So in the end, everything becomes arbitrary. And not something to worry about. The proceeds of crime should be confiscated.

I do not worry about things I cannot control. If I have no money, I cannot spend it. 'The system runs on bullshit, and if you have a victim's mindset, you will be a victim'. During the Great Depression, two of my uncles rode push-bikes from Melbourne to Queensland looking for work - they did not starve.
