For some reason one of the spokes in my rear wheel broke at the hub.

18" steel rim 74 MK II drum hub.

9 ga galvanized 6 1/2 long. I'll measure the offset later.

Where might i be able to find a replacement?

fleabay - several listings for single OE spokes - you'll need the factory part number to start the search. Andover Norton has listings for galvanized spokes, again, you'll need a p/n. good luck.

Unfortunately it's not a factory part. It's an 18 inch wheel.

Call Buchanan's Spoke and Rim they might be able to provide a spoke or tell you were to get one. Alternatively you could browse their site first.

Buchanan's for certain they can do anything spoke-related. Great outfit.

EDIT: Take a close look at the hub flange and the hole for the correct chamfer to accommodate the spoke bend without pinch or stress (look for displacement on the alloy of the hub). If this is an aftermarket setup then the additional angle (18" vs 19") might be a factor? Just thinking out loud, this was probably just stress+spoke+time.

Dan, was this your bike at Blackthorne?
Replacement Spokes?

I've always thought Buch's would sell SETS of spokes, or laced wheels etc., but no single spokes.

When I asked CWC in the UK they would only supply spokes in packs of 10
But that was for stainless ones

Same here. Did you ride in? 251 mile ride for me.
No, trailered. When I made the reservation 2-1/2 years ago, I intended on riding. A lot has happened.

My bride will ride the Cdo with me, but for longer distances, much prefers the R3T.
