Just home from back-to-back weekends racing at Road America in Wisconsin, and Grattan in Michigan.
My Seeley Commando won 4 for 4 in the AHRMA National BEARS class, and had some serious ponies for the F750 classes as well. I can't say enough about the quality of this new motor. The torque coming out of the turns was immense, and Road America's straight was a true test of the HP.
I was gridded on the last (12th) row behind all the BEARS bikes, the Sound Of Singles 2-strokes, the modern Triumph Thruxton cup bikes, and Battle of the Twins Formula 2 bikes (modern Ducatis, Buells and Suzuki SV650s). I won BEARS by over 2 minutes each day, and I crawled my way through all but 2 Battle of the Twins bikes for 3rd overall. I'm pretty chuffed.
I just want to go on record to sincerely thank Ken Canaga at Left Coast Racing, Colorado Norton Works/Jim Comstock, Jim Schmidt/JS Motorsport, and certainly FullAuto Technologies. Their support made this happen.
And it should be noted, almost every one of these bits on my motor can be bolted on to a stock street bike with little ado. There is no big secret to this success, just reliability and good engineering. This Fullauto head flows better right out of the box than any head I've ever come across, and the Jim Schmidt JS Motorsport piston/rod combo vibes less than any rigid mounted parallel twin I've ridden, which makes it really easy to turn that throttle!
