13 days Royal Mail/NZ Post to me
At first glance, I hated the new packaging since I couldn't see what was inside and I mostly I order several of the the same thing. But, once I realized that I could open and reclose the bags I became very happy with the change. No more cutting the bag and having the extra parts fall out in my bins. I also like the new packing since I can more easily reuse it to ship things. To my delight, rather than the sealed plastic bags for individual parts all of the parts were packaged in waxed-paper bags with self adhesive flaps. Definitely "green". Along with light weight cardboard box and dimpled cardboard packing its nice to see socially responsible shipping practices. Kudos to A-N.
Received my latest order from Andover Norton today. Six days from date of order. Excellent.

As a bonus, DCI Fred Thursday can re-use the wax paper pouches to wrap his sandwiches.
Endeavour, Lewis, Heartbeat, George Gently, Foyle's War and others keep me going!

Fast Eddie -
Endeavour is presented on Public Broadcasting Stations - Masterpiece Mysteries.
I often use it as an example of superior Television compared to some of the garbage produced in the states. Brilliant.
This Sunday is Season 7, Episode 3.
Cheers!
Some of the British TV series I've seen in their entirety: Keeping up appearances, Last of the Summer Wine, Are you being served, Fawlty Towers, The Vicar of Dibley, and my favorite Ballykissangel. Question: why are leading characters killed off - especially true in Ballykissangel? You guys know that Endeavour is set in the ‘60s right?
We don’t dress like that, or drive cars like that now.
Just wanted to clear that up, cos you might be disappointed if you came here on vacation otherwise
Having lived quite happily without television for nigh on twenty years, I came to Life On Mars quite late.. But what a soundtrack Follow up with Ashes To Ashes for some clever story telling too.....Not sure if you guys on distant shores can get BBC I player.. if you can try these
Line of Duty
Spooks
Life on Mars
Ashes to Ashes
It's the one liners in it for me and some would say how policing should be today... and not to mention the innuendo. Brilliant TV.....Fire up the Quattro!!!!!Having lived quite happily without television for nigh on twenty years, I came to Life On Mars quite late.. I've watched every Morse episode at least twice now, might do a third run through. All good.
But you forgot Inspector Morse !!
And, you should add to the list, the ITV version of Sherlock Holmes, the one where Jeremy Brett plays Holmes. Classic.
And, of course, Agatha Christie’s Poirot with David Suchet playing Hercule ...
Well that part probably hasn’t changed much !Have subscription to "Brit Box". Streaming service - "Broadchurch", "Grantchester", more.
David Tenant as the Devil in "Good Omens" was a trip.
Yes - I know that Endeavour was late '60s and early '70s. Sideburns are a giveaway. Love the Jag. Love the BSA in Grantchester (a B31?)
As this is a motorcycle site - attached is picture from my first trip to England. Summer of 1969. Visited Dave Degans at Dresda Motors.
Bought a fuel tank for my BSA. Still have their catalogue.
