Clearly I have a 20 th on there. Now I do seem to remember when I purchased the RGM system that was on there before, I used a 20. So mystery solved. Sorry for my memoryThat's a stock size tyre +- so no great amount of speedo runout there.

That is why I dont own a Go Pro - dont want video of my speedo...Hi Jerry
See you said your coming down to NZ in a few months. I'm in the Wairarapa in the North Island but if you do pass this way send a PM if you have time.
But I also need to say the cops here are very very strict on speed limits.
Our limit is 100 kph and even 10 kph over may get a fine. If you do 50 kph (around 95 mph) over you may get charged with dangerous driving which can carry up to 2 years jail. 40 kph over is pretty much automatic 28 day loss of licence.
So I can't really recommend too many fast runs down here.
Don't worry. They won't use the Go Pro for your ticket. ;-)That is why I dont own a Go Pro - dont want video of my speedo...
Very cool. I am heading to Oamaru (Denver>LA>Aukland>Christchurch -Nov 19 to Dec 4th- Picking up car) as I am going to see my family. My family all moved there from UK decades ago. My mum is in her 80's now. I was supposed to see her for her 80th 3 years ago, then covid struck. I will be headed to NE of South Island as well to see my cousin who owns a Vinyard there. I am excited to meet up with like-minded Norton owners near Oamaru. Murray from the NZ owners club and I had a great chat the other day. He is going to be visiting Denver in a week or 2 as well. All exciting stuff!!I'm heading to NZ as well, for the month of November Sadly, not shipping the bike there. With the speed enforcement maybe it's just as well.
We are renting a car, a Nissan Wingroad, whatever that might be!

Nice.We land in Auckland then head down the Pacific Highway staying at Gisborne, Napier then several days at Picton.
After that we carry on as far south as Dunedin. After some time there we work our way north to the Bay of Islands, where we'll spend the last 5 days.

If your partially sight seeing all good , but Gisborne is quite away off the main Highway down .We land in Auckland then head down the Pacific Highway staying at Gisborne, Napier then several days at Picton.

Think Squamish. 25 years ago.Oh dear!
I thought Picton looked like a good spot to use as Homebase while checking out the Marlborough Valley.
We are in AKL the first night and also the last night for the flight home.
Will see if it works for you on the later date ( Dec 7-8)
I have a hunch the folks I'm with will want to get rolling on Day 1, but there should be more time at the end of the trip.

Cool. We had a boutique hotel we stayed at in Martinborough, near Wellington. Wine country. It is pretty flat right there, so we ended up biking from winery to winery with predictable results. We are planning on doing this bike railtour. Pretty clever setup!

One of the things that surprise overseas visitors is that yes NZ is small but our roads reflect that we are the size of the UK and only 5 mm people. We land in Auckland then head down the Pacific Highway staying at Gisborne, Napier then several days at Picton.
