Does it matter what side oil feed goes too?
Mine feeds to the primary and piggy backs to the timing side. It was like this for some time yet I noticed that typically it is opposite.
Is this an issue?
Should not matter as long as there are no k8nks in feed pipe. Also as lond as all rocker spindles are flowing oil through them correctly at an even rate (spindle flats the correct way and not excessively loose fitt between rocker and spindle).
On one of my last topend rebuilds I enlarged the holes inside of the spindles by a little and am only using one line on the feed side. After two seasons of running the motor no problems..........
