I have a Norton flywheel with a raised casting number 06-0732 on it.
Does anybody know what crankshaft and bike this belongs on?

I am unable to find 06-0732 used as a Norton part number. I appreciate that a casting number is not necessarily used as a part number.

I have a couple of crankshafts with a number 06-0731 on the flywheel, and it appears this is also the part number for 750 Norton twins.

I did find a vague reference that a flywheel with 06-0732 on it might be a 06-0731 part number.

Clear as mud??

May be here ...

Thanks marineatlas.
Following your link, I see that Dynodave identifies flywheel (casting 06-0732) as part #06-0731. Which makes my mystery flywheel correct for a 750 Commando.

The built up 750 flywheel I have (so identified by previous owner) has a flywheel stamped as 06-0731.

If there is any rigour to this exercise, it means that a flywheel with cast numbers 06-0732 and a flywheel with stamped numbers 06-0731 are both pn 06-0731. Even though there are observable physical differences between them.
