Norman Whites’ Norton restoration manual is out now. Should be a good read with plenty of tips and advice.
Think I’ll have to put my hand in my pocket!

just checked amazon - looks like U.S. release date is April 2021. hard cover - $60 (preorder)

If you have prime then go onto the Amazon.co.uk site and look for it there, some sellers will send to US or are even in US and with prime the shipping is reduced. Based in UK if I want a US product I go onto amazon.com and buy it there, customs and duties is sorted and shipping is quick but you have to check every seller to ensure you get the best deal. Always cheaper buying US goods from Amazon.com not Amazon.co.uk for me so stands a chance reverse is true.

£26,55 on ABE.com
i'll have to check with them. I've purchased a book from them about 20 years ago. (1957) 1st edition, The Midwich Cukoos by John Wyndham. still have it - my all time favorite book.

edit - abebooks - $48.55 shipped - just ordered it - done deal!

Ouch, UK price is about $45.

If you are just beginning to, or are in the very early stages, of major work on your Norton the book could easily pay for itself many times over.

When I consider the tuition payments I have made in pursuit of learning the finer (expensive) points of the Norton, finding such a book and this forum have helped me upgrade my diet from pasta and rice...

Best.

Unauthorized purchase of another motorcycle ?
WARNING: Thread Drift...
This past weekend I got busy, cleaned the garage and made more room.
Looking for a response I commented to the wife about how clean the garage is.
She looks back with that blank stare...'Are you getting another Motorcycle?'

Now back to our regular program.............
