Gidday. About a year ago my gearbox decided to liberate itself from the rest of the bike via most of the nuts on the engine plates working loose. I towed the bike home and loctited the offending nuts. Since then I have had a problem changing gears smoothly. I would imagine something was bent but the shaft appears straight.
the problem lies when you change from 2nd to 3rd and then 3rd to 4th. and then down again. You have to use a kinda scooping action with you foot to pick up or feel the gears before you shift. The shaft seems straight with a straight edge, the gear inside the primary cover is not worn and the connecting shaft that sits in the rubber boot is ok too . Any ideas?
