Yesterday I received my Davida classic and V3 helmets.
I also purchased the Aviator and Halcyon goggles.
For the Davida Classic I can wear either of the goggles.
For the Davida V3 I can only wear the Halcyon. But Davida also recommends the Aviator T1, T2 or T3 goggles.

I’m impressed with the quality of both helmets and goggles. Thanks to everyone here for recommending Davida.
I like the light weight and looks of the classic, but it literally provides no safety.
Those racers back in the day had balls of steel!

Moto-Amore is the importer for Davida.
Not affiliated with 9MC VINTAGE in any way.

John at Moto-Amore was awesome go work with.

Still waiting on my refund from PayPal / 9MC.
 
Wow. Wonder what's going wrong with 9MC Vintage. I had very good transaction and communication via phone and email with them although it was about a year and a half ago. Pity. They carried all the models and sent my another set of ear pieces for free because of sizing. Jet, Ninety2 and the V3. I'm not seeing those models at Moto Amore. If they are the importer though, I'm sure they can order them.

I believe 9MC is out of business. I only say this because they never answer or return calls or emails.
 
I’ve heard several stories like that, once you ask a Chinese manufacturer to make something on your behalf it seems impossible to stop them continuing to do so, even if you have quality problems and cancel your contract, sever all links, get heavy with the legal, etc. they’ll continue to make and sell as pirates while ever they can make money, and without you in the loop to ensure (or try to) good quality, the quality just spirals ever downwards.

The real sad part is that in reality, most buyers probably know they’re buying pirate, when some thing is from China and is half the RRP, it has to be right?

But people just see the saved $$ and continue to support the pirates !
 
I bet that Ruby is a really lovely and comfortable helmet. That said, since the lining is not removable and New York State law prohibits the use of a helmet that is older than 5 years, I wouldn't purchase one at 1400. plus face shield and tax. 1600. US for a helmet. Nah.

Put a Norton decal on my Davida classic.
Now the heavy rain needs to stop so I can go for a ride.

I have the black leather mask, ummmm I’m sure it’ll scare some people so I’ll test the waters lol.
 
That outfit looks painfully fussy to put on , why not just an easy practical full face lid .... excuse me if you dressing up for special revival event , etc.

I have 3 full face Bell helmets.
2 Bell Bullitt’s Carbon
1 Bell Race Star Flex

I wanted to try a open face and went with the recommendation of Davida. I purchased the Classic and also the V3.
To put the Classic on it only takes a minute.
Put the white balaclava on.
Put the helmet on.
Put the goggles on.
Easy.

If you wear the black leather mask, it snaps on to the helmet quick n easy.

Takes just seconds longer then putting a full face on. Not something I’d wear all the time (meaning the Classic) as it provides “very” little protection.
But the looks to me are pretty cool.
