Nice 45°F sunny day today.
I couldn’t wait to try out my new Davida Classic helmet and goggles!

I think I found a new love!
Light weight
Comfortable
Great visibility
New smells
New smiles
Thumbs up by passerby’s.

You are a man of Style and Taste who appreciates a finely crafted product.

I have owned a jet for years and it's great but find that I needed to extend the strap attachment side pieces on goggles to fit comfortably - the 92 may be a narrower and better.
 
Ninety is lower profile. The interior on the jet is more plush and is much quieter. Its a litrle heavier. I have both and like them both. The jet is a better helmet.

I currently use a Cromwell - which I like - although it's suffering the fate of old helmets - the inside lining is starting to go "off".
It is the smaller profile of the Ninety 2 that attracts me - maybe better goggle fitment?
Still - it's hard to tell down here where the closest Davida agent is 1500km away - and they only stock the Jet.

Thanks for the comments guys - I think I'll take the plunge and let you know.

I have CNW build number 132 coming soon (I hope!) so will be able to give it a good test.

Actually have two Cromwells - I tend to wear the green one the most.

The gloves are Roland Sands "Diesel" (colour is Tobacco) - I find them very good in our moderate to warm/hot climate. I don't really like lined gloves.

The helmet with SS inserts is the "Spitfire" and is apparently still available from Italy (where I sourced mine - I think they're made there) - found this on Ebay:

Can't remember what the other one is (both were made in 2006) but I found one site that sells other Cromwell helmets:

A point worth noting that Ashley in Brisbane (Ashman) mentioned to me - not all open face helmets have a clip/strap at the rear to locate the goggle strap.
Neither of my Cromwells do but I am pleased that the Davida I am buying does (see pic below).
Good for preventing them "flying off & away" if you've left them in the "up" position (maybe just using sunglasses).
