It's the only 850 pipe set they seem to have available at present and why they are supplying it for pre-850 Mk3 models.

It will (should) fit with the correct parts (collets and spherical seatings) but not with those exhaust brackets if peashooters are fitted.

Nope. I switched to non balanced pipes in the early 80's and the carbs needed no jet change.

Just a quick follow-up on this as I didn't have any pictures of why the 06.4148/49/50 black cap plates are not necessarily "required" as AN says, and not even suitable when fitting Mk3 pipes to an earlier model with peashooters...

...and no, the pipe hasn't been shortened.
