All good , Arnie just got an Austrian Tank .Every time i see an advertisment on TV for electric vehicles, I feel the need to buy a V8 muscle car. My brain must be stuffed. Why is it so ?

A New Zealand man jailed for his role in a climate protest has been handed the longest prison sentence of its kind in British history.www.rnz.co.nz
Totally agree...I did read some where that these super glue type protesters (we have them down here too) quite possibly compromised someone's life as emergency services couldn't get through to attend a 111 call out and I'm pleased to see the Judiciary had the stones to pass down a far more fitting deterrence based sentence .Very controversial. But I support it.
The trouble with these (and many other protesters) is that they are so obsessed by their cause that they believe it to be above the law.
Its time they were shown this is not the case.
I also take huge issue calling such direct action a peaceful protest. It is not. Effectively locking down a city, stopping people get to work, to job interviews, to freakin hospital FFS, is NOT peaceful.
If I stand in front of you in the street and deliberately block your progress, it can be interpreted as assault. So how the f*ck is it ok to block entire roads and shutdown entire communities ??
They have a right to peaceful protest and they should continue to exercise this right.
But direct action should be met with stiff sentences.
There have been specific reports of that here.Totally agree...I did read some where that these super glue type protesters (we have them down here too) quite possibly compromised someone's life as emergency services couldn't get through to attend a 111 call out and I'm pleased to see the Judiciary had the stones to pass down a far more fitting deterrence based sentence .
Most likely was in England yes..I saw this television news reporter in Wisconsin commenting on how the protesters were mainly peaceful...and in the back ground there were municipal buildings etc that were set alight...the news company got arseholes also for the headline ...found itThere have been specific reports of that here.
Will it have charging stations every 150kms .So, trolley lorries or scalextric? And is it more bad news for hedgehogs?
Sweden is building the world's first permanent electrified road for EVs to charge while driving
The first of its kind in the world, the e-motorway may lead to an expansion of a further 3,000 km of electric roads in Sweden by 2045.uk.yahoo.com
ERS - an example of science stepping up to try and meet a set of unique technological requirements? I think so. Lots (and lots) of funding and the freedom to innovate will doubtless see leaps and bounds made in this space. So, trolley lorries or scalextric? And is it more bad news for hedgehogs?
