Well I am painting my '73' 750 pearl white. I looks to me like the original paint, however I haven't been able to determine if it was ever a factory color. Since I'm not doing a full blown restoration I'm going to stick with the pearl white for now. I have always been partial to candy apple red.
 
thanks .. should be done in a couple more days then I gonna be broke paying the bill...oh come to think of it I been broke since started the project with rusted frame in june 2018
 
ekasteve thanks for the compliment...too bad prolly not go to MIch. my job as editor of local newspaper means time off few and far between but maybe retire in a while

ps when I git the parts back I will put on bike and post 'finished' pics
 
That red is gorgeous. Hope you got the rest of the bike shined up or that paint will put it to shame.
 
here you go....$6k in parts and paint and polish and plating 19 months from rusted frame up...whaddya think? PS thanks to Reflections Paint and Body in Iron Station NC for the incredible paint work PPS thanks to guys on this site for invaluable advice/knowledge
