I for one have had enough of this thread. The point was made long ago.

If you want to have a torque thread please start it somewhere else. I'd be interested.

PS - the transformer video made me laugh...thanks!

Chip & Will are totally within thier rights, and have not been slanderous or malicious.

As I've related to both of them, I have never left a client less than 100% satisfied (in thier own words to me personally) - IF THEY NOTIFIED ME OF AN ISSUE.***

I can't make right something that is not brought to my attention.

When Chip's bike had it's issues, bill fixed them and charged me a reasonable fee which I paid immediately.

Will and I have an understanding with his ongoing issues, and I have no problem with him airing them here.

I DO take issue with hangers-on who have never dealt with me personally, yet attack me personally. Thankfully, Jerry has taken care of that.

Some forums allow certain posts to be deleted without deleting entire threads, perhaps this one doesn't allow that level of editing.

I would have replied sooner, but was on the road yesterday. I was not ducking the issue. ANYONE who knows me, knows I stand up and take it when it's due.

*** (can't say i've ever heard that about other shops)

'nuff said.

We need to keep Mr Twist's video close at hand for such occasions. Too bad we can't bring back Foxy's avatar for general morale purposes only!
Time to move on.

Everyone knows I have always wondered why in a world where free speech is championed, it is treated shabbily on public internet forums.

If a businessman is tirelessly self-promoting on this or any public forum as "GrandPaul" does on every British motorcycle forum known, then it is only fair that both good and bad reviews of his or any business are allowed. Most of the reviews will be subjective, but of course so is it when businesses promote themselves?

That is a common practice and necessary and welcome to protect consumers wallets and material possessions.

In general this is probably the best forum in the world for Norton motorcycles. If you know what to look for you will see some of the very brightest Norton motorcycle technicians in the world pop in here, like the ones who know simple and common sense things like how to clean and oil threads before torquing them.

If you present yourself, your bikes and certain facts to the public certainly do not expect every citizen out there to do nothing but blow sunshine up your skirt........ If you want that they set up your own website and domain where you can be a little dictator and have complete control.

Well; I think we are all done with this. Per Jim's request I am locking the thread/topic.
