After 2 years?

I did the bezel on one of mine years ago. I crimped it on with a pair of channel locks with some wood on the face to keep from scaring. It doesn't make a great looking job underneath, but you don't see that part once it's installed. Not everyone has one of the roll tools. The bezel is pretty soft material. If mechanically inclined one could probably make something out of a can opener. I don't think there's much magic inside other than cleaning up as long as things aren't broken. Somewhere on my computer I've got a bunch of instructions.

Yeah, I'd need a new bezel, you can't get them off without ruining them but I need to get the clocks off first to see what's needed.

I notice that a lot of the ebay guys have an on line store also. I tend to get them right from the source, they're usually a bit less expensive there, but not always. I got a bunch of stuff for my JD2020 last summer but from ebay, same guy but cheaper on ebay than his store. Go figure.

I don't work outside unless it's at least near 50°F or more.

What do you do with 56 perch ...
Nova Scotia not many perch but L. Simcoe Ontario is the Perch fishing capital I'm told. Every time we sent down a minnow through the ice hole to just above bottom they were on. Snowmobile home about a mile or so. We cleaned them and stripped off the skins with pliers , then dip in egg , dredge through corn flour (salt n' pepper ) , fry up in Canola oil until golden. Fresh Lemon on the plate. Sweet. Most wound up in the freezer in ziplocks with a cup of water inside. My BMW / 7 fishing bud Fraser froze a bunch for later.
Last night went to -8 C. but I had pulled the cover earlier so could deal with the leak issue in the warmth of the work bench area. The MK111 primary gasket was new yet the lower stamped holes were off enough to allow drippage. So I used an exacto knife to cut away a sliver of gasket from the top of each of the 4 holes. This allowed the gasket to move lower and fully contact the primary mating face of the outer plate. Fixed it in place using Hylomar to prevent any movements/shiftings and will present it back home on the bike when any warmth returns. That and fitting the new Wassell carbs.

O.K. Truro.
Fitted the primary outer cover late afternoon in sun . Poured in oil , went with wife for our AstraZeneca shots , booze store for Champagne to celebrate , then a walk home. Ran fingers along bottom of primary to check for any drippings and it was dry. The cover soaked up some oil too so it's finished after a long winter. Onwards to the new carbs !

Whoops thought I was responding to Tornado out in BC , apologies for not being more attentive !!!
