A good woman and marriage

My momma always said "Kissing don't last, cooking do!"

My sweet baby can cook ........ use to be that I wouldn't eat spinach, squash, beets, corn bread, and more. On one of our early dates, she invited me to a home cooked meal, with squash on the menu. I thought I would have to choke it down, but the first bite surprised me. Eventually, all the foods on my yuck list succumbed to her culinary magic.

A few dates later, another home cooked meal plus two bottles of wine, and I found that the sex was good too.

Talk about blessed! My daughter calls me a "babyholic", I just can't get enough. She does in-home daycare and she called me over about a month ago to let me know she had a new baby to carefor. I went over and visited a while, holding the puffy pink baby and doing my best Joe Biden imitation of sniffing (babies are the best smell there is, as long as the diaper situation is fresh)
