I'll let you all know next week, as I've managed to buy a complete tvs Norton 961 engine, complete with throttle body. Time to remove the guess work out of what will and won't fit.
Also noted in that service manual, that engine oil capacity is back up to 2.5ltr.

so after some months have we discovered if the TVS Commando mount a different throttle body, eventually without the sadly famous portal connecting the two ducts?
