The more you ride it the more you will get used to it. I am pretty much ambipedtrous.
It’s been a bit of time since I had any progress on the Norton. Life and a new job got in the way.
Have had some shop time recently and decided to clean up and reassemble the crank.
It was a lot of elbow grease and WD40, but the results were worth it.
Picked up this little box end wrench in a misc. parts stash a while back. It was almost like offset was made to tighten up the nuts.
Thanks baz, that is a good tip. I was mocking up the swing arm for the gussets.Looks like your about ready to weld the gussets on your swinging arm
Just incase you are not a welder it's best to fettle those gussets to fit as good as you can before welding
Also it'd be worth pre stressing a little at the axle slots
Maybe 5mm outward or so , because all that heat is bound to pull in a little
