I would expect Andovers turn signals to be quality but maybe not. I have a set of cheap aftermarket lucas copies and had the same problem. I drilled a tiny hole and put a pin in so they can't turn.

Are you sure they are from AN? its the cheap copies that don't have the flats on the signal end of the stems and in the signal lamp housing that prevents them from turning down.Installed rear turn signals purchased from an 3 years ago. Have tried everything. Lock washers blue lock tite always loosen and flash the ground. Also makes me look like an idiot. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated
I installed a M Stop - works great, flashes for 20 sec then cancels if forgotten. Only downside is you have to "re-indicate" at "long" traffic lights.Looking for a self-canceling flasher for LED signals.Any info would be appreciated

Thanks for the info. I will try one out as I hate seeing that I left them on.I installed a M Stop - works great, flashes for 20 sec then cancels if forgotten. Only downside is you have to "re-indicate" at "long" traffic lights.
Not cheap but I would buy again if needed. BTW - I bought from ebay ($80 AUD including shipping)
They are solid state, only 2 wire installation and use 3 dip-switches to select the function you require.
...and the ebay one I bought - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/133375303850mo.stop

No - it replaces the flasher unit, but doesn't need the earth wire (if I remember correctly)Rob,
Do you use these in conjunction with the flasher?

Instructions are clear though!
red to positive, black to negative.Rob,
I ordered one of these (MotoGadget).Am I right in thinking a flasher relay doesn’t care if positive or negative earth if wired correctly?
A big plus is that it is way smaller than the LED flasher unit I am using now
