From my reading it has three selectable time-outs via dipswitch, pick one and go with it. So it seems it would just have one mode while moving.
It's the 1 second and 2 second modes of the Signal Dynamics that I use most.

I went with a M-stop unit from MotoGadget. I just reversed the polarity as I have positive ground. I only use the position for turn signals.Directionals flash for 20 seconds and then stop.Have used it for about 3 months now and it is working fine.Another bonus is its size (very small)
