I can feel the pain...my son died three years ago of a cerebral hemorrhage with no prior symptoms/problems of any kind. No parent should ever survive longer than their children! :( I wish you a speedy and trouble-free recovery.
 
Update July 19th:

Today marks a significant step in Yves’ recovery as he was taken out of ICU!!!

He is now recovering normally, still in the hospital for the foreseeable future, but all is well.
I just spoke with him, he is in good spirits, not impatient to get his first physio session tomorrow…

So great news all around!

Thanks for the update Bruno. I was beginning to worry as there hadn't been any news for a few days.

Ask him when he will post his next joke !
 
Oh, did I mention that his hospital room number is (yes, really): 14-18!

He’s a fighter for sure!
 
Powering yes, smoking no unless its from the back tyre, good to see he is out of ICU, as for physio goes the quicker it gets started the quicker the recovery and back on the Norton, fingers cross Yves a little pain for a lot of gain for your full recovery, good luck mate and get rid of those bloody cigs for good.

Fabien brought Yves an ipad in hospital today so he could read all your messages.

He is extremely moved and touched by all your messages, he was very emotional on the phone when he spoke to me a bit later on.

So thank you all very much again for your support, it really means the world to him.

And now some good news: Yves will be home sometimes next week!!!
