Yet another attempt to breathe life into Norton...

Can you wait until next year to sell ? We may be just around the corner for parts. Something should happen at NEC in November.
Whilst I also hope for big announcements at the NEC… I can’t imagine for one minute that one of those announcements will be about spare parts for the previous companies bikes…!

The parts issues is going to continue. As a shop I need parts to fix problems that would have been dealer items. I need bottom ends, some transmission parts, and other parts that according to the emails won't be forthcoming unless it's for the 961 B version. Also, previous dealers have reached out to the current company for parts for their customers and according to what I have been told there are no "extra" parts on many things.

Not gonna happen Gojuu - the negativity narrative, in the absence of information, is just too attractive. The ability to seperate SG Norton from New Norton just too difficult. The frustration of having a broken bike when help is so close just too great.

It will continue until Norton are up and running and if/when they succeed, doubtless all will be forgiven. Everybody loves a winner; let’s just hope that Norton has a winning plan.
I'm a little lost on where calling as we see it is negative. According to Norton, they are up and running. I know Voodoo is at least smart enough to know that old and new Norton is different so that seems like a dig at him. And owners have every right to be down on an expensive, no replacement parts, hard-to repair, no dealer support, no aftermarket support, motorcycle.

I for one as a shop have been trying to amass parts and internals for bikes that have been sitting for the last few years. I've bought out what dealer stock there was and no dealer I spoke with had "extra" anything on hard parts.

is it negative to wonder what's going on? Is it negative to be curious and have some speculation about what might be going on? As a business person, I look at the information available and then make choices. Not a lot of positive information to go on.

I have posted the investor reports which clearly state that no US sales will happen and I have other information that many parts will absolutely not be available and there is an item regarding if they will sell parts to previous owners still tabled but even if they do, there are not that many parts actually available once Norton has their own internal spares.

The UK market might have better luck since you are there

You might want to re-read the whole thread mate. Your interpretation is a tad skewed.

With all due respect, I’m really exhausted with the “SG” blame game.

Stop fooling yourself in thinking this is all SG fault.

We all know he’s a lying con man.
We all know what he did.
We all know he doesn’t own Norton anymore.

Stop beating a dead horse.
Stop blaming SG over the handling of TVS Norton.

TVS is responsible for Norton now and as I see it, they suck.

You have your opinion as do I and everyone else. Yes I’m negative and I’m fed up.

It’s been nearly 3 YEARS!
Do they owe me anything? Absolutely not!

What gets me frustrated, is the constant game and lack of direction and information they refuse to provide. And no, I’m not talking about the future or the direction and bikes they choose to one day Possibly make.

Im fed up with the game of cat and mouse, through many emails and phone calls by their direction and request.
First they wanted part numbers. Many of which I didn’t have but was able to find.

Then a few times was told the parts would be available. Then not available. Then available. Then a price quote. Then not available and once again a price quote and once I again tried to send payment, it’s crickets again.

I FIND it very hard to believe a “company “ that is in business to build, manufacture, and sell motorcycles, can’t get their shit together and follow through with a simple transition of funds to do as they said.

But hey, let’s keep talking about a million dollar facility that’s state of the art but still use carbon copy credit card swipes from 1980s.

This is why I’m done with it all.

TVS will never offer a product for me to purchase here in the States and that’s perfectly fine by me. If people can’t see the writing on the wall, that’s a shame, because Norton is quietly saying their focus is EV. NOT ICE.

With respect, literally nobody in this thread is saying any of that - almost entirely the opposite In fact.

The inference is that some owners incorrectly link/associate TVS with what happened in the past at SG Norton, not blaming SG Norton for what’s happening at TVS.
