Pro Grip gel grips are good, but they’re thin, so have limited cushioning.
What I’ve found helps a LOT is soft spongy Beston type grips.
But, ironically, most Beston style grips, especially the ‘quality Japanese made’ ones are actually not good because they’re solid, hard, rubber and offer no cushioning.
The best ones I’ve found are cheap Emgo ones. They’re a softer rubber and a hollow construction and offer a lot of cushioning to the palm when using clip ons / low bars. The down side is the soft rubber means they don’t last as long as some.
But I’ve also found that you need to specify that you‘re buying Emgo ones otherwise you get whatever they’ve got on the shelf.
