I think that’s butt ugly - but a reasonable faccimilie of the original. You can characterise it as you like mate. And yet you think this is attractive?

My apologies, I thought you admired the Brough Superior? I thought you posted somewhere that you’d like to have one if you could.I think that’s butt ugly - but a reasonable faccimilie of the original. You can characterise it as you like mate.
Nope. I’ll pass. It’s ugly to me.I think we’d all like one would’nt weVoodoo - just to sit in the garage and marvel at the amazing componentry - quality personified.
It’s a bit of a shape-shifter for me. From certain angles it looks amazing and from others, like an odd collection of parts randomly assembled within the appearance constraints of the original. I guess we all see different things. I‘d sure like to ride one though!
Uh oh. UmmmmmOoooooooeeeeerrrrrrrrrt! Can reallly see why this didn’t take off!! Although………………!

Well, classic didn’t have carbon on them. The 961 carbon is extra. So, the Thruxton RS blows the value proposition a bit!! AUD 28K before ya add another 2k for the Chrome pack, or get into the accessories available. Gimme some of those 35 styling options being just part of the 85 accessories available. No carbon components from what I can see. Ya could blow some serious wonga’! Makes The TFC good value if ya can find one!

Over here the Thruxton RS is remarkably good value used, even with very low mileage. So, the Thruxton RS blows the value proposition a bit!! For ‘my‘ old Triton you mean?Do you think he will get anywhere near that price Nige. 2006 how time flies.

But overall the TFC is the best value IMO. Currently there are 6 for sale here in the U.K. Talk about temptation !!
I’d go the TFC every time. Beautiful machine, got all the trimmings including full carbon fairing and seat unit - and very tastefully done. Limited number made so (proper) long term value pretty much assured. Love one in my stable!Over here the Thruxton RS is remarkably good value used, even with very low mileage.

Anyone who reckons that TFC ain’t a looker should pack up and go home !I’d go the TFC every time. A keeper for the garage, rather than a temporary occupant!
