What’s the best none Norton Norton ?

If the Norton chassis in question is the 961, then probably the reliable, torquey-powerful, DOHC V-Twin Shiver motor would be complemented by the Norton's attractive cafe styling?
Hmmm, makes sense if the Shiver motor can be shoehorned into the Norton frame.

I suspect the Shiver was installed in an original rubberized type Commando frame.

And who says the Japanese can't design good looking bikes? I'm sure we will all be queuing up for one of these little Honda beauties;

The rider looks well chuffed with his new mount! Sorry to anyone if it spoiled your dinner. It will probably include a Honda not-fall-over-o-matic and hazard avoidance system. There are rumours that you can program it via an app to make its way to your local bike meet by itself, Deliveroo an organic beer to you and fire up a Teams meeting with the other bikers at home thus avoiding any of that troublesome, time consuming and environmentally unsound riding.

No more liquid cooled rides for me , too old to enjoy enhanced performance and too short tempered to dispose of the used coolant , as it is I wait till I have 2 full 10L jugs full of waste oil before heading to the endless line up at recycle site …..

I am waiting for the New Harley XR1250R , of course based on the Rev Max engine.

Had a beautiful new Ducati 998 before some b@$%d stole it from my garage in Germany. Could’nt live with the shape of the newly released 999 so moved on to other marques. Fleetingly had a look at the MV Agusta at the time. In short, had a real attraction to Italian exotica. Nowadays Ducati’s are so ubiquitous they rarely turn my eye but occasionally something a bit special comes along that peaks my interest again.

IMO this is one beautiful motorcycle - nuff said.

Cool styling, but I prefer the original red and silver.
Your eye loses the lines of the bike in black.

That's the ticket man!
Original MV livery colors, stacked small OD exhaust, and a peek-a-boo fairing that actually allows you to see the motor.
The wheels are a bit out there, but overall - Delicious!
I love the original red/silver livery too. I think it‘s a bike that you would need to see in the flesh. I’m yet to have that pleasure.

The Veloce is a bit too over styled for my eye, I prefer the F3 800…

Certainly a very sharp ride as well.
Only issues for me are the mega-silencer hanging off to right side, and the fire engine red wheels.

Not sure I can see that FE. Very different bikes without a doubt. The F3 a balls out sports bike and Superveloce with more than a passing nod to a cafe racer. It’s got a pretty simple front profile and minimal tail unit. Plain sweeping lines without any sharp angles, body cowls or wings (that don’t do anything until you reach warp speed). MV are the masters of styling - but over-styling, I’m not sure. But beauty, eye, beholder and all that!?
