Have they changed the Fat Bob? Mine was a 2011 and it wasn't a Softail variant it was from the Dyna line with dual rear shocks.
This was one of the reasons i sold my 961....now owned 16 yrs from new and greatly altered from standard, so it rides NOTHING like a standard Bonnie...feels like a proper classic bike

Way cool, bitchin' ride.![]()
At my local coffee stop today. It looked good, sounded good and by golly it started 1st kick. Mind you I could probably buy another half dozen 961's for 'spares' and still have change.

You have really gone and surprised me with this Harley stuff.I never looked at them that closely as I just thought they were too ugly. But the more I read about how good they ride, the more I’m warming to the looks.
It’s the front end styling in particular that I struggle with, but like I say, I’m warming to it...

But, it can’t match the ‘it just looks RIGHT‘ appeal of the ole Dyna IMHO...

The large section front tire produces slow handling, but great straight line stability. Makes riding double on the super-slab really comfortable and stable at speed. Not crazy about the oval headlight style though.I never looked at them that closely as I just thought they were too ugly. If you read the tests, they say not. Very quick steering by all accounts... for a Harley. The large section front tire produces slow handling, but great straight line stability.
Sorry but nothing HD makes appeals to me at all.
unless you like old man road yachts, with over weight, under powered, poor braking, poor handling and over priced.
they are stuck in the easy rider days. Enough already. No point of making 40 of the same bikes. I wouldn’t shed a single tear if they went out of business.
when they make a half tempted try at a somewhat appealing bike, the drop it like a hot potato because all the crusty old Harley riders / owners cry saying it’s not a real Harley. Enough already
test rode a 114 one when they came out in 2018...did about 50 miles....i was quite impressed. loads of torque ( obviously) had great roll on at 70 mph, handled and braked pretty good and actually had some ground clearance ! The problem was i then got back on my 961, which felt loads better.....If you read the tests, they say not. Very quick steering by all accounts... for a Harley.
Never ridden one myself tho.
902 bore, gas flowed n polished, big valves, FCR 39's with K&N's, rev limit raised, H/duty clutch, raised gearing (although it is PHENOMENAL with the standard front sprocket ! ) , megaton pipes. ... up from 50 bhp n 42 ft lb torque to 82 bhp and 62 ft lb torque at rear wheel....pulls from zero revs... I'd fancy a Speed Twin RS if/when Triumph make one..but i love this bike, it has so much character.I see you installed FCR's.
What's under the side covers? The stock airbox, or uni filters, K&N filters?
