I have always used the leg of a pair of blue jeans with one end sewn shut.
It's a rag if you need one, and it is better to kneel on than gravel or pavement.
It a zip , I’m down to just one pair of button fly , they mostly for yard work now ? the fingers just don’t work as well as in the past so all new jeans are zipper .... works for me and the pins haha!
