I would like to replace my throttle grip with one where the cable comes out of the grip at 90 degrees rather than straight. Lots of cheap crap on the web but not much that looks any good. Suggestions where to look?

I just searched Magura or Domino. Been in the biz for years. Husqvarna also made a good one - but remember 7/8" bars.....

Enjoy

A Domino type of throttle grip may not work so well if you want to preserve the 1970-74 Lucas switchgear. In this case, fitting a throttle cable elbow may be a better solution.

I used Motion Pro 90 degree throttles on my roadrace Triumph twin, and because it worked so well, also on my Yamaha 2 stroke twin roadrace bike and my Triumph dirt tracker. Smooth action, high quality, and cables readily available. What I liked apart from the typical Motion Pro quality was it eased into the tip in where you need sensitivity but still pulled it all the way open in 90 degrees or less depending on the carb size. In other words, a really smart shape to the spool.
