I have seen this conversion before and I'm told it's very good
Do you have the swing arm that goes with it?

Would you consider these needle bearings? If not, what would be the term?

That looks like the conversion I have seenI just found something called a Timken bearing conversion. This is the swing arm that look a lot like the one I’d need.
Does this look right? Any one heard of this conversion?
Yeah...you’re probably right...They are taper roller bearings
The conversion I have seen has the pivot end of the swing arm cut off and replaced with larger journals
I'd be looking at getting a standard cradle if I were in your shoes

Does anyone want a cradle with tapered roller bearings?
I’m back on the hunt for a standard cradle...
if you find something on eBay post it here before bidding. we'll keep you from getting modified parts.
Is there a parts list for the bastard child MK2/MK2A with the Welch plugs and felts? My spindle and bushings are neither pre-MK2 or MK3. That page for 68-74 does not represent what's on my 74.
I have the supplement parts list for Mk2-2A. Not sure it helps but see here.
Thanks, but they're both just one page - no illustrations. Is there more?
