Stuck on Layshaft Bearing upgrade

Hobot, just because this particular bearing went in fine, doesn't mean I haven't experienced the joy/lessons of Norton testing - believe me. However, I think it's why I come back to the bike each time. It's like a game (or a challenge) - will I get it right this time or will I fail?? This time I win. Next time......

Thanks again for your help and support.

OK accepted correction David, its really me that needed the maturing lesions on being my own mechanic. i've been learning for 11+ yrs and the bike that became Ms Peel had more stuff more wrong than about a dozen barn finds, then my own errors to recover from on top of those. So much so I always expect the worst now and pleasantly surprised when not so bad. I have had a number of impossible to remove plugs or shafts, but posting/crying to listee's collected their mental powers to focus on it and what was busting off wrenches and pullers suddenly just gave way next
day as expected!!! Too many times so confused on states of reality assumed.

David, in the caption in the picture were the lay shaft is pulled it says main shaft all the rest seems good.

Very nice, I'm glad it all went nicely for you. Nice pictures too.
