Small 12 volt lithium ion bateery for use with Boyer

Shorai battery in my 916 lasted two years, even after I kept on one of their expensive tenders, I thru with Lithium!
I run Shorai on all my bikes apart from my one modern bike (kinda ironic really, but I might get around to changing that one as well)..

I’ve used them for a long time, at least 15 years.

I’ve only ever needed to replace two.

I agree with Nigel, why frig about, just use a motorcycle specific LiFePO. Especially in a kickstart/race only scenario.
I used a cheap JMT as an experiment in my T140 Triumph expecting it to die quite quickly and it was still working fine 5 years later. Yes I did some checks to ensure charging voltage didn't get too high but never even bothered with charging it over winter, inbuilt balancer. It survived two instances of leaving the silly (not wired via ignition switch) light switch on as the inbuilt battery management system saved it. Less than half the size of a YT6 Yuasa, 500g and £30 ish. When it finally died I just bought another and also have one in the MOSFET regulator equipped commando now.

Probably a few other brands made in the same plant.
Not sure if the one in the link is exactly the same but you get the idea.
M&P (large UK bike accessories warehouse) sell them too

Whenever I work on my motorcycle, I try to make everythimg lighter but not wealker. However I would love to own a 1929 Bentlet Blower, I like steam trains too.
