Thanks! Battery out and will be replaced at the same time.Should be a direct replacement for your bike , don't forget to disconnect the battery when plugging in and out the ECU's .

Yes , and I have heard that the new Delta 400 S ECU will physically fit into more applications. On my Commando Sport it mounts sideways and doesn't use the mounting tabs anyway , so it wouldn't be a problem for me. The Delta 400 S would give me more room to use !Well, ECU arrived! Current users will know what's wrong with this picture, but SCS are sorting this out.

The old vs new. No tabs to screw it down, so SCS suggest 3M velcro. I Just happen to have some.

And the cables. Current users will see the issue. After going through the 'am I missing something here?' thoughts, I broke down and called SCS. To his credit, Mathew appologised profusely and will get me the right cable in the post. The cable on the right should be a DB9 to OBD port cable.
If you contact SCS UK , Can you ask if they have made any changes to the Norton 961 with Race Cans Map ? Thanks.I’ll have to see what map I’m running. Was this map from scs, or from another source?
From SCS. Its the latest software in two of the 400 we have serviced.I’ll have to see what map I’m running. Was this map from scs, or from another source?
Its funny that we have to crowdsource everything for these motorcycles. SCS here in California has been a great help to us in getting both the 400's and the Typhoons sorted out.I just want to thank City Garage for emailing me a little while back . He asked if I would like to try out the latest map for the SCS Delta 400 . City Garage said this was (Version 4 of the Norton 961 with Race Cans Map) and of course I said yes ! I did a map file comparison with my previous map and there are some changes. It looks like most of the changes are in the idling section but I am also noticing better running in the lower rpm range. Anyhow , This latest map is better for sure , especially in the area of idle stability. This is when I am running the bike fast up to a stop and hard on the brakes and sometimes my idle would undershoot then pickup again , Or it would kill on occasion . Completely solved ! Now those who have recently gotten the Delta 400 or have unlocked their Typhoon may already have this map ??
The 400 and typhoon maps are different and should not be interchanged.I just want to thank City Garage for emailing me a little while back . Hello Claudio , Any news on the new Delta 400 map ?PM sent
thank you
Yes the cal file is small maybe 28K . I didn't know you excluded the IAC . I still use mine and this is where the new map differs at idle rpms . The rest of the Map is the same.Hi Tony, sorry if I didn't get back to you earlier
My previous map was a .bin file, the one you sent me is a .cal file but it seems to work the same, maybe the one I had was an updated version.
My idle has been regular since I excluded the IAC and that's no longer a problem.
