Interesting how I see people doing this.
I currently have two Nortons with no Kill switch which I will correct soon.
The thought of a stuck or misaligned throttle cable is bother some.
Sure, pull in the clutch with the left hand reach down to left with what to shut it down??
Kill switches are going in.
I like the idea of a bystander being able to shut off a crashed bike on the road if rider is unable. Which I believe is one of the requirements on modern bikes for these switches. However, the Norton classic momentary switch needs to be held in off position a second or two to shut engine down...not a toggle switch like modern bikes.

Only use left side cluster , horn and dip switch , plus middle position is headlight off .... right side in place , no wire running out though , key is easy access , doubtful bystander would have the wits to find Norton kill in emergency ..... good on you Joe , you an example of how to stay with it till problem solved !

Just cos a 50 year old corroded up kill switch fails, it doesn’t means the answer is to have no kill switch!

It just means it needs a bit of maintenance once every 40 years or so...
A Periodic 10 years cleaning and regrease should have been in every owners handbook.
