roads from Winnipeg to Lumby

Are there good motorcycle roads between Winnipeg and Lumby ? Hammering down the four lane Trans Canada for three days does not seem like much fun.

who told you that the trans canada is 4 lanes? I travel east form the west coast all the time and it ceases to be 4 lanes about 20 minutes out of Vancouver; I cannot imagine it is any better out in the gawd-forsaken prairies!!

Oh, and when does Lumby happen?

Looking at the map it appears to be 4 lanes most of the way from Winnipeg to Calgary.

More like god forsaken BC. You guys still storing burned out motorhomes and old washers and dryers in your front yards out there?

It is pretty much 4 lanes all accross Sask except for the odd stretch here and there and has been for years except for last week where the highway was washed away at Maple Creek, just before the Alberta border. It is now single lane there for a short way until road repairs are finished. The highway from the Alberta border to Medicine Hat is all 4 lane now.
