I think the Rickman tanks and seats used to be dark green - would go well with that frame. The bike seems to be the real deal, so do not under-rate it. I could win races with that. Some people like their motorcycles to look as though they have just come out of a showroom. A Rickman is not a normal road bike, it is what some of the fast guys had. In Australia Rod Tingate had one in the 1970s, and Peter Smith has built a replica of it for historic racing. A 650 Triumph engine is fast enough .
A lot of guys froth over my Seeley 850, a Rickman is much the same thing. For that era motorcycle, a racing frame is gold. With a lot of old bikes, their speed is in their handling. A 1960s Triumph 650 usually has excellent handling, but a Rickman is probably better.
