Bikes yes, since 1970, but not Norton's that long. For a long time, I laughed at the "Bermuda Triangle" type readings on the Smith's clocks used on Tri/BSA/Norton. Now I know, it's not because they were poor quality, but instead because back then, they were worn out, neglected improperly serviced junk. (Like all the bikes/cars I could afford)
