I think this is the 1st I've seen this on this board, "ain't that a wrench in the spokes!" I don't know if it's jealousy or some bad drugs or moonshine. I haven't bothered to read his past posts to try to figure it out. The important thing is not to succumb to that level and carry it on further. It's best to ignore.
As for your photo, I was refreshed to see a younger rider attached to the bike. It seems most the time we see an owners photo with the bike it's some old fart that rides the beast and that almost doesn't fit right. Good on Ya to include your photo. (Ever since my beard turned white I've been too camera shy to ever post my own picture).

A Week end of pure fun in the land of "Armagnac" and "foie-gras de canard"
Thank you so much for your comment i appreciate it.tpeever said:I second RennieK's opinion that it is great seeing someone who is younger than the average Norton enthusiast out there doing his thing. He needs to be complimented and encouraged, not belittled over petty differences in aesthetics. Like our mothers said, "Sometimes it's better to keep certain opinions to oneself". I am really glad to have people younger than me getting excited about old British bikes, doing nice restorations and riding them. This is the most civil and helpful forum that I participate in. How about we keep it that way?

Lets remember that almost every bike....British or otherwise was modified in some way almost as soon as it left the showroom! You've done a nice job. I've raced Nortons for over 20 years.....never owned a standard one, but I can still appreciate a nice one when I see it
