Yessir, I hope to be there, I perviously thought I couldn’t make it but it seems that, fingers crossed and weather permitting, I can!
I’ll be parked in the ‘cafe racers with sports bars’ section...

I can’t blame it on the Harley thing. When I were a lad I’d ride in any / all weathers. But I seem to be getting softer with age.

These days I find the roads just too slippery in the wet for my liking, biking for me is just for fun, and wet slippery roads ain’t fun!

However, if I’m really honest, the main issue is that I just can’t be arsed cleaning the bike after a rainy grimy ride!!

I'll be in the "Mk2 Anniv. with an ally tank that don't quite look right" section.... maybe we need a combined "that ain't a proper 961" section, just next to the "that ain't a proper Commando" section which are all within the "that ain't a proper Norton" section lol

MxM, sadly no. Turned up to collect it the following morning and firstly it wasn't ready for me and when eventually they had it ready, it wouldn't idle properly. Diagnosed as probably something to do with the throttle body calibration. Patience is a virtue, so I'm told!
 
Well I’m bailing aswell,my two wheels are still at the menders & not ready to collect atm,another week or so & all should be good,the work & service req ain’t too heavy but they are choc o bloc with orders/ TT/servicing/mots/etc etc, so I’m a patient fella & here & in it for the craic & thrill of the 961
My Mrs on the other hand has press ganged me into attending daughters (step,got more than one )surprise 30th birthday bash now in Essex,I’m having to bow to this as I’m taking part in a Normandy invasion ( with 6 others) in mid June.
So you know the drill,lots of pics & details of this Sunday’s kind invitation from the local NOC .
 
Going to have miss this yea last year was great but going to Peterborough show as Suzuki want one of my bikes on display for the show so got to collect the bike and bring it home maybe next year

Thanking u kindly, so lots & lots of pics please & then we can move onto where we meet next, should be a few V4,s kicking about soon , I’m in contact with a few waiters who’s delivery is imminent ,so perhaps we can catch up with one of those lucky cool geezers to.
Again apols for absence on this occasion but will defo be at next bash
 
Yep, been hissing down all day and just had a hailstorm.... but the forecast says sunshine and dry.... wax or leathers?
