Old Britts calling it quits

They were a high service dealer. And for a lot of people that service was worth a small additional cost. They had the best ordering experience website despite it being 30 years old. And it's still better than any other site out there. You knew exactly what the part was, how many you need and the actual availability. Plus you could call and get help.
No doubt, but then I get 1-5 calls a day for help and 0-2 orders per week and I charge less than everyone else as you well know. I am trying to help the community while getting my parts for less, not make a living. I certainly do not begrudge those who make a living at it. I buy from others as well. Placed three orders today from US dealers (Triumph stuff).

You've mentioned repeatedly how great their site was and you've told me how bad mine is. I could find nothing on their site and certainly could not request a quote or place an order. You had to call them just as you have to call or write me. On my site you can add to cart and then get a detailed quote. and I'm open 7 days a week from 8am Eastern until midnight.

I guess I'm the one that's wrong. I should be charging at least a 100% markup since people think that is a "small additional cost".

I'm sorry you took that personally, it was direct generally at most parts sites and not you specifically. There are places that have 2015 PDF catalogs that they think are cutting edge.

I really appreciate the effort you make to provide parts at a very reasonable price and the quick shipping too! I direct everyone I can to you as the current best resource for Norton parts. Everything I have ordered has been in stock and got here so quickly that I question if you haven't moved next door!

@rvich Andover Norton stated in their Monthly Newsletter back in March that they will be hosting the Old Britts Technical Articles.

Old Britts calling it quits

I guess that over time, they will be integrated into their TECH DATABASE section.

Apologies, haven't got round to that yet, simply too busy and with holidays etc I guess it will be autumn/winter till we do it. When the evenings are dark and no longer ask for outdoor activities. Like riding my Norton(s).

The technical articles are still there, but how about all the info that was in their parts lists? All the info on threads, dimensions and what not, is all that gone? Would be a huge shame.....
