I just reviewed my posts, and have come to the conclusion my spelling could use some work. Hopefully my mechanical abilities are better. In my excitement over the oil pressure sensor unit, I misspelled both baz and and madass, so I guess my name is now Mud! My apologies to all.Ok Jam no problem

Allow me to resurrect this topic, getting the electrics worked out with my 750. Have the switch wired into my headlight bucket. A bit confused as to how to go about linking it with my warning light. Attach it to the warning ground? Thanks.
i used the power wire (white) for the now obsolete warning light assimilator and ran a new wire down to the sensor.Yes. The switch grounds through the engine. Power for light wire from battery > Light > Ground for the light wire > oil pressure switch > engine > ground back to battery.
I am still looking for a digital OP sender of the same size as the switch which 'Madass' supplies with his kit. I would like to fit a digital OP gauge (0-100 psi) in addition to the low pressure warning light.

No, the white/brown wire I taped up on its own.
The white (power) wire goes into the bulb then earths out down through the sensor.
Knut: I searched the web for such a unit (either digital or analog) with no results. If you find anything, please let us know.
I have my op sensor fitted for nearly a year now,. After a couple of teething probs it has worked perfectly all year. The oil light comes on when the ignition come son ans does not go off until after the engine has stopped.
A great design and build by don [ madass ]
I have another to fit to my 750 when I get it back on the road.

I'm thinking maybe a typo here? The light should illuminate with NO pressure (begin to flicker just below 10psi), but otherwise be OFF with the bike running and pressure levels above the warning threshold.
