haha, not yet.. but hopefully very soon Dave.. with your help!
The Tiger should also be growling soon, as soon as the magneto comes back

I once bought a rough 850, what I call barn fresh, for $300.00. It was in a commercial warehouse. As the owner and I were rolling it out the door, he looked up to a shelf and pointed. He said, you might as well take that along too. It was a new, primed Interstate tank that had never been used. I had purchased a used one 2 weeks prior for $600.00 from Baxter Cycle in Iowa. It was dented and a little rusty. which is exactly the way that Baxter had described it. They took it back for a 20% restocking charge. I thought that was fair.
BTW, after much discussion, we decided to tear down that motor without running it and found that the cam bushing was seized to the cam and spinning in the case. It was likely parked because of the squeal.

I bought at eye watering cost a unused Inter tank. Still have it, unused, as I couldnt bear to fuel it up.
For everyday use just get a clone and no worries.

I'm intrigued - why do so many threads such as this one which was started in 2012 and has been dormant since 2013 suddenly become active again?

Cheers,

It is really interesting how many of these old bikes ended up with high rise handles bars. Us old guys might enjoy going back to them. They are real easy on the back!

Russ
Got an ex us export t150 with those bars. My first thought was they've got to go, i even bought a pair of straights ready. Now 2 years later the cowboy bars are still on it.........

It is the "Similar Threads" section below the Post Reply box that dredges up the old posts.
