Now the boys have had fun with 'trans fluid', the first thing is to establish is what you really mean by 'transmission fluid'.New to Norton’s, wondering what kind of transmission fluid does a 71 750 commando take? Thank you for your help.
The oil in the gearbox, fed in through the hole revealed by removing two screws in the round plate above the kickstart is the 80/90, hypoid, GL4 or synthetic equivalents as noted above....
I live in France so I currently use Motul products! Motul 300LS 75W90 in my TTi gearbox!
The primary drive, on the left, inside what is often called the chaincase, but houses the clutch and the alternator and often a triplex chain and sprockets, uses engine oil, or atf to choice, and is a whole different argument....you will be glad you discovered us!
I run a belt drive so I use....nothing!
