Ollie Thiel has some new 961 pipes available, typical of him, they look absolutely top drawer:

I'm liking those spring retained header pipes.
These are for the Dominator, wonder if he has ones for the Commando?

Hi FE , You beat me to the punch . I have ordered and they fit Commando 961 so long as you are using the A frame hangers. You can also couple these with the Thiel Short mufflers. I really like the spring retainers ! Should help with various issues .

I don't see these pipes on Ollie's website.
"A" frame hangers?
Are these different from the stock Commando units?

Every Commando 961 and Domi 961 with OEM mufflers comes with the A frames. BT , These are what your mufflers hang from now . The Domi 961 with open megas have these replaced with different hanger frames.
 
How did you find out about the new pipes, I don't see them on Ollie's website?
What is the pricing, do you know?

You should email Ollie Thiel and get the word directly. He emailed me yesterday , I was on the list for shorties. I wanted some other stuff too like his shock bolt and muffler bolt caps.
 
Yeah he sent me these images a couple months ago.....I'm mega keen to start stocking his stuff.
As a few of you know, I'm currently trying to buy a 1960s motorcycle that's come up for sale. Commercial mortgages are new to me...they're an absolute bitch. But, if I can get this place, then I'm going full time with the bikes, and will hopefully be carrying some of Ollies stuff.

My biggest issue I seem to remember was the method of payment , this is of course after they agree to send the parts . TVS/Norton required a bank transfer and that is another $60 US to the bank . Which I guess is worth it if you really need those parts . So I will be reaching out to them again with a parts inquiry , maybe now they with take credit cards ? Does Anybody know what payment method is required by Birmaingham Norton now ?

They sent me a payment link which was obviously a Shopify instance. On that basis they should be as able as anyone online.

Shopify is effectively an online store platform that companies can subscribe too. They handle various payment methods - credit card etc - and PayPal is typically one of them. It’s worth noting you won’t really “see” the Shopify platform - it will just look like a Norton online store.

Well, as you know Clive, I no longer have a 961 upon which to adorn with such finery.

I did consider buying a set to mount on the shed wall as art.

Sadly my shed isn’t long enough…
