Just picked up a 74 850 Commando: barn fresh or garage I should say has sat for 20 yrs, super clean, except for the syrup in the gas tank, which I'm working on right now. I do have spark, so as soon as I clean the carbs and replace the fuelines she should fire up right?...

I will probably have questions on all the different switches, what the heck is up with all of these.

This is my first Norton, I have several Ducati single's, so this is my big bike now.

Welcome Vin, There is a lot of Norton's in Michigan. Got about 20 runners right here in Flint. PM me anytime we ride regularly.
While your cleaning the gas tank don't forget the other tank, the oil tank can end up with a bunch of crud in it, well worth a look at the bottom.
So remember you have fork oil, Primary oil, Trans oil, engine oil. All different and sometimes common sense and the manual are wrong tread lightly and read lots of old threads here.
