New Norton 961

Agreed with all of that Mark... but...

Even if you just buy a stock CR and add de cat and open pipes it’s £17,700.

And that’s without the chrome sidestand...

According to the Anniv. brochure the Sport, CR and California all got slightly different spec., in addition to that some peeps put in special requests!

The CR was the only one to get a chrome stand :) The CR and Cali. both got chrome chain guard and chrome headlight bowl. The Cali. is also depicted with polished Ohlins!

Yes, thats right.... then when you add the black pack 'plus', black rims, paint job (black/white...don't like black/gold ) carbon bits, levers , mirrors , £700 Norton handlebar change (+original clip ons and top yoke)...i know everyone has their own taste, but easy to reach over £20,000....;)

I was lucky enough to get one of these investment bikes that didn't turn out to be a good investment.

Mines a 2017 961 MKII SF that was straight from the factory, unused and unregistered.

Cost the investor £18,935 and I got it for £11,250. It's now registered and looking forward to putting some miles on it this year.

There are some bargains to be had when these investors have to sell quickly.

Or maybe it was cheap as it didn't have a chrome side stand!

He had to dump it on the market quickly when he saw the chrome sidestand bikes come out...

Seriously though, great buy for you !

FE, You don't need a chrome side stand. In staying with that black look, stick with the black stand. Besides....you STILL have the best looking
961 I've seen yet.

Thanks for the compliment, but my bike already has a chrome sidestand !

Which is good news, as it clearly elevates it to collector status and has added thousands to its investment value...
