Adjustable swingarm pivot and steering head angle. Two features that - when tuned to your liking - can make an enormous difference in the character of the machine.
 
Generally, a single-sided swingarm is good for endurance racing where a quick change wheel is important. Also, a single-sided swingarm is generally heavier than a double sided one.
 
The S/S swingarm makes wheel removal, wheel alignment, so much easier. With the light weight wheels this bike has, the trade off is worth the bit of weight the arm adds - (IMO).
 
John is a big fella, probably makes it look smaller than it is.
As far as I’m aware, it’s basically the same size / same ergonomics as the 1200.
McPint is a short fella, short legs - I am 172cm (five ft 8 for the Brexiteers) and he is shorter than me!

In the pic his knees are right up against the rear of the fairing - that's why the bike seemed to be quite small.

McPint - cool, I never heard that before.:p
